15 Aug RUFFLES LOVE AFFAIR | CHARLESTON
There is something about ruffles that I can’t resist; so many of my dresses, skirts and blouses have ruffles. Every time I’m in a store I’m drawn to ruffles. They complement your body beautifully like no other clothing piece can. The great thing about ruffles is that the trend looks great on every body type. I actually used to shy away from wearing ruffles out of fear of creating more volume, but the great thing about this ruffle skirt is that it comes together at the waist, which automatically creates an hourglass figure. Ruffles are very romantic, playful and very feminine. Since the ruffle details act as their own accessory, I suggest to keep the rest of your look more simple to keep the attention on the ruffles.
The story behind the pictures on the balcony, like I’ve mentioned in my previous post (here) I got up at 5.30am to get ready, to watch the sunrise at 6.34am and to start taking pictures at 7am. I can totally say it was absolutely worth getting up so early, and I am super happy with the result of the pictures that I took with the help of my tripod 🙂
Oh Charleston – there are so many beautiful corners in Charleston, and I cannot wait to travel back to discover more of Charleston. On this day I did some sightseeing, and also went to the Magnolia Plantation but I will tell you everything about my sightseeing trip in my Charleston travel guide, which will be coming soon.
