As the temperatures are slowly falling, summer is finally coming to an end. My absolute favorite season is just around the corner: Fall!

This shirt dress is a great transition from Summer to Fall look, because the oversized cotton shirt is very light and for a little colder days I love layering a big knit sweater over it (look will come soon). To avoid little mishaps, I’m actually wearing airy shorts under the shirt dress. And can we please take a moment and talk about these amazing thigh high lace up boots! I absolutely have an obsession when it comes to over-knee boots (I literally have so many pairs), so when I saw this pair I had to order them. I’ve actually never worn these boots before (until this year), because they were miles out of my comfort zone. But now I don’t even want to take them off anymore. So unfortunately I got these boots maybe like 3 years ago on ASOS, and I could not find a similar pair to link for you guys. Instead I linked a few different shoe options to recreate the look for you 🙂

[O]h summer – the summer months are literally so unpredictable that I constantly find myself checking the weather in the mornings before getting dressed for work. To make the process a little faster for the mornings I try to lay out some outfit options the night before (doesn’t always happen). As women we all know how often we change our minds about what we want to wear. Decisions, decisions. The constant hot temperatures make the decisions even harder. And I’m talking about 100 Fahrenheit, which is about 37 celsius. My go to pieces for work on SUPER hot summer days are definitely airy culottes with a blouse, or a nice work appropriate dress. Wearing light materials in this super hot weather is definitely key. And even though it’s really hot outside, don’t forget your cardigan, because we all know that most work places turn up the AC aalll the way 😀 On a side note, I also always make sure I pack a second pair of shoes, in case my feet get tired from wearing heels all day (I’m sure we’re all familiar with that problem).

A day at the beach is good for the soul.” We all know how stressful life can get at times, and therefore it’s really important to also sometimes take a timeout. Usually when I think about a vacation, I think about a relaxing beach vacation. I do enjoy exploring new cities and doing sightseeing activities, but I find nothing is more relaxing than a beach vacation. Soaking up the sun and some Vitamin D (I do that from under my umbrella 😀 ) is good for your health to some extend. Always make sure you also protect your skin from the strong UV rays. You can find out here what sun lotion I use. I am very grateful that I live so close to the beach in New Jersey, mostly known as the Jersey Shore, so when I have time I can just drive to the beach for the weekend 🙂

I really love this tunic dress I scored at H&M. The dress was originally $49.99 and I got it for $15 during their sale. I love a good sale, I am a true bargain hunter. [insert lady dancer in red dress emoji]. I tried finding some good deals for you guys that are similar to this tunic dress. The pictures were taken on the 4th of July and even though it was super hot that day, I was able to wear the dress, because the material is super light. I love how feminine and playful this dress is. The net bag – I really love this trend but I was a little skeptical at first, because how are you supposed to put anything in that bag without loosing everything? So to make this bag more practical, I bought a little rusty/tanish color makeup bag and put it in the net bag to assure my valuables wouldn’t get lost 🙂
