#CHLOÉGIRLS IN NEW YORK

Since I use a bag every day, when shopping for a new bag I always make sure the bag has a good quality, and is sturdy so that it’ll last me a long time. When it comes to bags, I invest in timeless pieces and colors, and make sure that the bag will go with 90% of my wardrobe. I’ve had my eye on this Chloè Faye bag for so long, and I finally got it on Tradesy. I always believed in working hard to get the things I want. This bag is definitely an investment piece that I will appreciate and that’ll last for a very long time. The special thing about Tradesy is that every piece is preloved, which makes every piece unique and have its own history.

Ruffles, suede and booties. Those are definitely some of my favorite to-go pieces for Fall. When H&M released their Fall collection about 2 weeks ago I went a little over board, because all their pieces are so beautiful! Fall is just my absolute favorite season. And since I’m very busy with college and work, I ordered everything online (my dear post man & neighbors please accept my apology for all the packages 😀 ) While I was walking through Manhattan I got so many compliments on this blouse, and I actually ordered this blouse in all three available colors. Hey, when you really love something get it in all different colors! This faux suede powder pink skirt is also one of my absolute favorite pieces from the new H&M collection, very trendy, feminine and so so soft.

These pictures were taken with my dear friend from Germany who was visiting with her boyfriend. I haven’t seen her in 7 years (man time flies!) and it was great to spend the day at Bryant Park and walking around the city with her. And thank you Paula for these beautiful pictures 🙂

NOT YOUR MOTHER’S | HAIRCARE

Sometimes our hair wash schedule just doesn’t agree with our other schedules, I’m sure we have all experienced a situation like that in the past.

So the other day I had a dinner scheduled right after work and I always have some of my daily make up routine products in my bag so I am able to refresh it throughout the day. But what about my hair? Every morning I do my hair, it stays in shape until about midday, and then it just starts to loose shape through the rest of the day. Thankfully I found Not Your Mother’s (NYM) haircare (here) and I fell in love with their products. First of, all their products are amazing! They make your hair feel super soft, and oh wow does it make your hair smell good! It smells like cookies (I’m not kidding). Also, it’s not tested on animals and it’s gluten free! And what’s also amazing is that all of the products also come in a travel size as well. So from now on I’ll always carry a travel size of dry shampoo and hairspray in my bag, so that I can freshen up my hair before an event, dinner or date. I particularly love the dry shampoo, volumizing hairspray and frizz control hair cream. No more bad hair days *insert hair flip emoji 🙂

OH RAINY DAY | NYFW EDITION

Not even the rain can stop fashion. Rainy days are not bad days, they are just wet days! But I am also very thankful that my booties are somewhat water resistant 😀

Rain definitely makes the decision of what to wear a little harder, especially because you don’t want to ruin your suede boots or bags, that would be tragic. So the rain definitely played a big role for me in deciding what to wear for Fashion Week. As you know, I’m currently absolutely obsessed with plaid, and this plaid blouse I actually got in the Spring from ShopTobi, and it’s my favorite plaid clothing piece I own at the moment. The wrapping detail gives the look a very feminine touch. To add some color to this look I chose the rusty red pleated skirt I got at H&M in the Spring. I actually found a similar one and linked it for you guys in burgundy. To keep the French girl look going I added a beret to finish off the look. Très Parisienne, don’t you think? On a side-note, I am actually German and French 😉
